Lawrence C. “Larry” Schleser graduated from the USAF Academy and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the USAF in 1971.

During his Air Force career, he was an F-4 Phantom Weapons Systems Officer, T-43 Navigation Instructor at Undergraduate Navigation Training, Recruiting Squadron Operations Officer and Commander, HQ Air Combat Command (ACC) Staff Officer, Air Liaison Officer with the US Army and various other positions. He had tours of duty in Thailand, Germany, England and several locations in the Continental US.

Retired as a Lt Col with 28 years of service in 1999. Took a job as a Government Contractor working at HQ ACC, building ACC’s single-ship demonstration and Heritage Flight schedules in 1999 and is still in that same position. He also schedules ACC aircraft for air and trade shows around the world. In addition, he controls flyovers in the National Capital Region for funerals and memorial services at Arlington National Cemetery, sporting events, change of commands, presidential inaugurations, and various other events.
